Ulysse Nardin
GMT ± Big Date
Watch Collection
A true classic unveils a gorgeous face lift!
In 1993, Ulysse Nardin invented the GMT± with its signature plus and
minus pushers to adjust instantly the hour hand to another local time. The
clever instrument features a "Hometime" window at 9 o'clock which displays the
time at home when one is travelling abroad. Patent No. CH 685 965.
The GMT± Dual Time can be adjusted to a different local time without
taking the watch off the wrist.
The hour hand jumps, one hour at a time, backwards or forwards. The minute hand
continues to run and keeps the time.
In 1995, Ulysse Nardin launched the Big Date double window display for
easy reading of the date (Patent No. CH 688 671). This invention further permits
synchronized date changes when the hour hand is adjusted to a new local time
across the dateline.
Case in 18 ct rose gold with an exclusive grey guilloché dial. Water-resistant
to 330 feet. Screw-crown. Sapphire crystal. Strap or 18 ct gold bracelet. Also
available in stainless steel.
